Apple has released iAd Producer, a Mac program that allows developers (and non-developers alike) to create iAds using a simple point-and-click interface.iAd Producer makes it easy for you to design and assemble high-impact, interactive content for iAd. iAd Producer automatically manages the HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript behind your iAd to make creating beautiful, motion-rich iAd content as easy as point and click.
The application has a variety of templates to choose from, along with built-in animations and components. The ads can then be simulated on a Mac or iOS device. At the moment, the iAds program is only available to select companies, but the release of this program hints at a public release. Only a member of the iOS Developer Program can download iAd Producer.
Rumors have persisted that Apple would release some type of HTML 5 authoring tool for a while now, perhaps a replacement for iDVD as part of iLife or an extension to iWork's pages.
